Privacy Policy
"Yad Melava" Nursing Care Website
Last updated: June 2026
1. General
At "Yad Melava" we take the privacy of our users — employers and caregivers alike — very seriously. This document transparently details what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. This Privacy Policy is drafted in accordance with the Privacy Protection Law, 1981, and Amendment No. 13 to the Law (effective August 2025).
2. What Information Do We Collect?
The website offers two types of services and therefore collects information tailored to each service:
- Salary Calculation & Payslip Data (Calculators): Financial and employment data entered by the user for calculation purposes, including: start and end dates of employment, salary amounts, vacation and sick day usage, social benefits (pension, recuperation), and ID numbers (national ID or passport) if entered.
- Job Board & Placement Platform Data: Data intended for employment contact purposes, including: full name, contact details (phone, email), relevant area of residence, professional experience, spoken languages, and work/residence visa status.
- Automatically Collected Technical Data: IP addresses (defined as personal data under Amendment 13), browser type, operating system, browsing times, pages viewed, and Cookies data.
3. How Do We Use the Information?
We are committed to using the information solely for the purposes for which it was provided:
- Document Generation: Financial data is used solely by our algorithm to produce the final compensation report or accurate payslip you requested.
- Connecting Parties: Information entered in the job board area is used solely to enable employers and foreign workers to find each other and make direct contact for employment purposes.
- Operations & Support: Contacting you in the event of a technical issue, clarifying an inquiry you initiated, or improving the website experience.
- Newsletters & Updates: Sending professional updates or system notifications — subject to your consent, with the option to unsubscribe at any time.
4. Separation, Transparency & Third-Party Sharing
Our guiding principle is a complete separation between financial data and public data:
- Financial data in the calculators is completely confidential. Salary, deduction and ID data entered in the final compensation and payslip calculators will never be published on the job board, are not linked to the user's public profile, and will not be transferred to any third party.
- Job board data is public to website users. A profile built on the job board will be visible to other users (employers or workers) to enable the placement process.
- External Service Providers: We may use external providers (such as cloud storage, analytics, technical support) who are contractually bound to maintain data confidentiality and not use it independently.
- No Data Trading: The website management commits to never selling, trading or transferring users' personal data to advertising companies, external databases or other third parties — except where a court order requires it, or a competent authority demands it.
- Rights Transfer: In the event of a structural change to the website's operations (merger, acquisition, transfer), data may be transferred to the acquiring party, provided they commit to maintaining the same level of privacy detailed in this policy.
5. Data Retention, Deletion & Control
- Calculation & Salary Data: Information entered for generating salary reports or final compensation is used for immediate processing only. We recommend users save the generated PDF outputs, as the system does not maintain a long-term archive of every calculation performed.
- Placement Profile Deletion: Users who found work, or employers who found a worker, may contact us at any time to request removal of their profile from the job board. Requests will be handled within 14 business days.
- Right of Access & Correction: Any user may contact us to find out what data is stored about them in the website's databases, and to request its correction, update or deletion — in accordance with the rights established in the Privacy Protection Law.
6. Information Security
We operate and implement advanced information security systems and procedures to protect the sensitive data entered on the website — particularly salary data. The website operates under the HTTPS protocol, which encrypts communication between the browser and the server. If we become aware of a security incident that may harm user privacy, we will take immediate steps to contain the breach and notify affected users and/or the competent authority, as required by applicable law.
7. Cookies
The website uses cookies for:
- Normal and proper operation of the website
- Website security and protection against misuse
- Anonymous statistical data collection (e.g. via Google Analytics)
- Personalizing the browsing experience
A user who does not wish to receive cookies can avoid this by changing their browser settings. Please note that blocking cookies may impair some website functions.
8. Transfer of Data Abroad
Some website services (such as Google Analytics) may process data on servers outside Israel. Such transfers are made in accordance with the service providers' terms of use and the requirements of Israeli privacy law.
9. Changes to the Privacy Policy
The website management reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. In the event of a material change, a prominent notice will appear on the website. Continued use of the website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Privacy Contact
